My name is David Wells and I finished my Corporate Communications major and Business Administration minor at Elon University in North Carolina in December 2009. I started this blog just before I studied abroad for a month in London, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austira so that I could keep my family and friends up to date with my travels, and I have decided to keep the blog going!
A little bit about myself: I am originally from Bel Air Maryland which is just North of Baltimore. Four things that I am very passionate about include family/friends, traveling, photography and running. I served as the photo editor of Elon’s student-run weekly newspaper, The Pendulum, and was also on the varsity cross-country team. I studied abroad at school and have taken several trips on my own.
I work at a verbal and visual communications agency that handles PR, advertising, branding, graphic design, website development, and other such media packages called A. Bright Idea. My dream job would be to work as a photojournalist for a major newspaper or magazine such as Time, Washington Post, Runners World, ESPN or National Geographic. I love my job because it allows me to travel to cool places and meet new people. I had my best cross country season my senior year of college and ran an 8k PR in 26:56, and ran on the Southern Conference and Regional Championship teams.

Your aunt Karen and I are so glad you’re having a good time… Wish we were there… It’s been 2 years since we were in London… Great place! Glad your dad gave us the blog site… We will follow your trip from here… Have a great time and be safe! Can’t wait to see the pictures…

Hey Julie! Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you! I have burned the CD! So I have it ready! I can come by sometime today (Tuesday) and get it to you, or anytime this week that would be convenient for you! I may be headed to Ocean City for the day Wednesday (so I wouldn’t be able to join you for a Wednesday morning track workout… bummer) but I’m not sure if that’s happening yet. Just let me know!
